Churches Large and Small

There are many religions across the globe, and the majority of them have houses of worship. They are called churches, synagogues, mosques and temples to name just a few of those connected with major religions. Each one has in common the fact that people gather there to express their faith, and many of them also function as a center for the congregation’s community.

There is no standard size for any of these buildings, and some of them depend solely upon the number of people who belong to that particular religion in an area. Small neighborhood churches are common in cities, suburbs and rural communities. Large churches are generally found in urban areas, and technology has now created mega churches. No matter where people choose to worship, they all have their own reasons for selecting a particular church. Some of them want a feeling of family, but others are attracted to the message of a church.
